It’s everything that’s wrong with our political system…you shouldn’t be allowed to run for TD unless youve had a significant amount of time as a leader in your industry. Any industry. Or done 10 years as a local councillor even.
Pissants who’ve never really worked or have done 5 years in primary school with junior infants shouldn’t be let next to near parliament let alone government.

Once met MLMcD below in Youghal back in 2013 I would say. It was a Shinners gig and didn’t really want to go, but anyway it was an event to shine a light on disabilities and lack of services etc. There was a great warmth to her and was great with the kids. There’s a maternal warmth to her. I don’t agree with her politics but was impressed with her empathy. Funny the way Montgomery Harris went after that in the leaders debate.
