Official TFK Irish General Election 2024

The auld fella did the which candidate poll @Little_Lord_Fauntleroy.

It came back FF, FG, SF, Aontu. He’s livid because he won’t be voting for any of them :joy:. He said he’ll go with the Labour fella in Limerick and maybe give Frankie a preference cc @thelimericks.

I’d give Conor Sheehan a very good chance for the last seat

I think he’ll be in the mix alright. The first three seats are a given for me, but the last one will be box office

You’re sliding away from yourself here pal. What’s up? Is it the remnants of the shinner love or are you gone full brass eye?
Nikita hand is a ‘good rape victim’ but maria Cahill is a ‘bad rape victim’?

Yes. DBN has bits of fingal and dublin city council in it. So the mayor of fingal is generously giving up his time to try to help the helpless cause of the labour lad here.

What constituency is Boher in? There are posters for city and county candidates there. Are you allowed put them up outside your constituency?

I never mentioned rape, I wouldn’t defend that under any circumstances. I just don’t agree with militant dissident republican paramilitary groups & don’t want to read/hear musings from people who were heavily involved with them. I thought Labour appointing her to the Seanad that time was in the same neighbourhood as Charlie Flanagan giving Drew Harris the top cop job. Trying to wind up SF/IRA above doing what was right. I’d kinda forgotten about it until the Mayor of Fingal started retweeting her.

You never mentioned rape… but you hate maria cahill getting any publicity… ok. Have a think about that. We are all embarrassed with some parts of our past. You were a rabid shinner once upon a time and that has coloured your view of cahill. The mayor of fingal is among the worst anti sf people among labour.

???

I explained that I don’t think any ex-RNU member should be put up as a moral authority.

That’s whether they’ve been sexual abuse victims or not. Don’t know why you think or seemingly claim I’m making some distinction or dismissing her because of rape.

Ok mate. I’ll make it clear. You just said you wouldnt vote labour cos they stood up for a SF rape victim that you want to just go away.

“Internal polling” leaked to a journalist usually has a fairly blatant goal.

It’s hard not to suspect that this is a SF leak to try and change the narrative and recreate the 2020 vibe.

Oh fuck it gets worse for FG….

I didnt say that at all. You’re acting really weird here.

A weekendus horribilus for the blueshirts.

Yer man Damien Tiernan, ex RTÉ south east correspondent, is saying that the Ireland Thinks Poll that’s in tomorrow’s Sindo is FG 22 (-4), SF 20 (+2), FF 20 (no change).

Alan English said it’s a 1,420 sample size & was done online on Thursday & Friday so before Harris’s Kanturk interaction.

Do polls really matter? US ones were way off. Any lad interviewed for his preference in paper is only giving first name. From recollection they were way off last time when SF cleaned up

Fianna Fáil have went from 2.92 to 2.42 on the exchange to win the most seats, 15/8 into 6/4 with paddy power.

I’ve put as much as I’m willing to but surely the 6/4 should be more like 10/11?

Fianna Fáil have stronger candidates overall on the ground especially outside of Dublin and Harris is making a meal out of this whole thing.

The Harris thing may or may not cut through.

I agree with your argument about their candidate base though and their ground game particularly outside Dublin.

They’ve put a lot of their energy into promoting Simon but he’s not one bit relatable. I did my own little tot up the other day and had FF winning by 3-5 seats.

I don’t think any of the three are really centre right.

If they were in the US they’d be pinko commies
