I’m nearly certain it’s Limerick City and the boundary is about about half way between the new roundabout near Caherconlish and Pallasgrean on the N24 hence all the posters up along that route in particular as the county constituency continues into Pallas, Doon/Oola and the rest of the demilitarised zone. Candidates in both constituencies covering commuters as well I’d say.

You’re spot on. As a related point of interest, Cappamore was in the city in 2020, but has now been returned to the county for 2024. Ballyneety has gone the other way.

I wouldn’t say there’s any restriction on location. Daniel Butler had posters up for the mayoral election most of the way down to SuperValu Páirc Uí Chaoimh last year.

Friday’s encounter in Kanturk has solidified my opinion that Harris is on the spectrum - he showed not a shred of empathy or ability to even pretend to care towards the carer. He was robotic in his dismissal of her. Harris’ brother Adam has ‘high functioning aspergers’. Our dear Taoiseach clearly has a touch of it.

This was pre Kanturk I think. You can probably subtract another 4 or 5 from that total again.

Dromkeen crossroads is (just about) in the city, that’s the boundary on the N24.

Interesting poll. It’s Kevin Cunningham who does the Ireland Thinks and I’d really rate him.

I saw something up online that when it came to preference for candidates in your constituency it was FG 20 FF 20 SF 18 and Aontu were up on their national poll.

18-20% would be a big rise for SF on the locals. It’s prob on the basis that people who didn’t vote then come out now. So the crucial think for them will be motivating supporters to get out and vote. The perception that it is closer might help that.

Still agree with @Cheasty that FF will have most seats

The reality of another ffg gov will see others get the protest vote but ffg is inevitable.

I wonder will Brendan O’Connor ignore the poll saying it’s too close to the election to discuss polls.

No doubt Alison O’Connor will be on again telling the nation Sinn Fein ate her hamster….

The three way leaders debate on Tuesday night could be important too.

It could actually benefit the SF vote, two men picking on a woman mightn’t be the best optics for Harris and Martin - especially after Harris treating that lady in Kanturk with such contempt.

Where the petrol station and furniture place is?

If he’s anything like the rest of his family he’d be a grifter rather than a headbanger

That’s the spot.

The pep is back in your step the last couple of days.

Would be amazing if there was a competent and non scumbag opposition.

The same standards should be held of government also.
