There was no consultation with those people or those from Roscrea or Newtown. Very few of such centres in south Dublin.
The money being paid to such hotels to provide accommodation is abhorrent.

Effect deportation orders, use Dublin regulation effectively, wasted costs orders in asylum list, review of DOJ procedures to stop stupid JRs and effective border policies and facial recognition software deployed in points of entry
Oh, and a system where someone gets a decision on asylum, LTR or SP in a reasonable time (3 months) so if you’re successful it’s done and if unsuccessful, you’re out

There isnt as many abandoned hotels in South Dublin mate but there are lots in Sourh Dublin

The amount earned by accommodation owners should be in line with potential income if they ran it as a working hotel.
The current contracts means hotels get many times more the income for little or no work. There’s something fundamentally wrong with that.
