He would get shredded inside the cage in under 2 mins.

At gay porn?

McGregor seems to have a serious punch for his weight and sizeā€¦that technique was class, full extension of the arm and downwards motion flush on the jawā€¦whole body force coming through itā€¦that would buckle most menā€™s legsā€¦the better fighters will take him straight to the canvas instead of toe to toe

If the sight of two toned young men in shorts, sweating and grappling on the floor doesnā€™t excite you then I donā€™t know whatā€™s wrong with you, Fran.

Even when you take all those things into account itā€™s still incredibly boring

You donā€™t know much about the sport, pal. Hush up there before you appear like a bigger jack ass

Iā€™m just giving my opinion, pal, and from what Iā€™ve seen itā€™s just a poor manā€™s version of the WWE. Trash talking, spandex clad nobodys grappling in a cage/ring. The venue is souped up with big screens, fancy lighting and loud music to get an atmosphere going and create some excitement and the main event is a massive anti-climax.

Shush Fran, the protein shake brigade all love it.

UFC is Terrible stuff. Hard watch. No better than WWE

You know nothing Fran Snow!

I donā€™t watch as much of it these days but there is a lot of ground fighting these days. The training and fitness levels of these guys is unreal thoā€¦ And it may appear like they are just rolling around on the ground but Itā€™s very much a game of technique/skill/ strategy. The days of two fighters just going at it are few and far between unfortunatelyā€¦ Itā€™s still elite combat tho.

Every roaster in ireland on facebook is on the ufc bandwagon

And youā€™re friends with the lot of em!

Where does McGregor rank in the division? Has he fought anyone in the top 10 yet?

Noā€¦only his third fight. Did both cruciates in the one knee in his last fight and fought on. That was his return and his opponent is respected as a seasoned fighter but not top material. His next fight will see where he is at as he will surely fight a contender.

12th before last nightā€™s fight-not sure if this moves him into top 10. He is one of the biggest names in the UFC now though so if he wins his next fight he will probably get a shot at the title.

I was at this last night. It was pretty good. Better than the last UFC event in Ireland. But not as good at the event I was at in America in 2004. Massive bandwagon crowd at it. It was amusing seeing so many people there who hadnā€™t a clue what was going on. Few lads in front of me locked out of their tree didnā€™t even realise the Conor McGregor fight had started then celebrating after like Ireland won the world cup.
Thatā€™s event junkie Ireland for ya.
