Brock said even if he won he would have treated the title match with Junior as his last match no matter if he won or lost it. Overeerm is a beast. He looked like a Superstar tonight.
Chael Sonnen vs Anderson Silva rematch this weekend.
I’d love Sonnen to do it but can’t really see it happening.
Sonnen on points is the only route that could happen. It’s 7/2.
Anderson inside the distance is the bet for me I think 8/11 with Skybet.
I’d love to see Sonnen win as well, I wonder will Silva engage this time, can Silva stop Sonnen taking him down. I’d give Soonen an outside chance for the win, but Silva knows what to expect this time and should win.
The last match (Testosterone levels aside) was a cracker. Only in UFC could you batter the fuck out of someone like that and lose in the closing seconds to a hold.
I’d love to see Sonnen win but I have a feeling he could get stopped early this time. The last time Silva was even remotely wound up he destroyed Vitor Belfort in a few seconds. Also he was supposed to have had cracked ribs the last time and he still found a way to win after getting beat down for nearly 5 rounds. Sonnen didn’t look that great last time out against Bisping either but in fairness Bisping has better takedown defence than Silva so it was a worse match up style wise for him.

Brian Stann is a massive 6/4 to beat Bisping next weekend, I’ll be having a nice cut off that. There’s a slight risk that Bisping might employ a wrestling gameplan especially after seeing how Sonnen beat Stann but hopefully he’ll do his usual stick and move tactics.
Stann has been training wrestling non stop since then anyway so his takedown defence will have improved. If they stand and trade I see Bisping getting knocked out for the second time in his career and will have a small bet on that outcome too when the market appears nearer the date.
Demetrious Johnson is probably way overpriced against Benavidez too but I think he’ll most likely lose in a close decision affair so I’ll stay clear.
This lad seems to have started his UFC career with a bang and seems a good auld character too. Talk that he could be a potential star of the sport?
