Didn’t the rubby bandwagon not launch of of Thomond Park the day the assembled binmen and dockers, augmented by 1or 2 rubby lads vanquished the All Blacks circa 1970 or thereabouts.
There was even a play and possibly a movie made out of it for God’s sake. Check with @balbec, he came on a sub after half-time.
