- We were due to play a senior hurling league game. The opposition didn’t show up and the referee didn’t show up. We were the only eejits in Dublin not watching Ireland v Russia. Went back to London the following day and watched the Ireland Holland game in a pub in Harrow on the Hill on the Saturday.
