On this day

Jeff Buckley’s Grace joined a 27 club of sorts this week. It’s release date was 27 years ago on Monday. I’ve been listening to a lot of Buckley this week, and his music has aged beautifully. Lyrically, I’m still blown away by his work. “She’s a tear that hangs inside my soul forever” has got to be one of the most stunning lines ever committed to vinyl.

He didn’t lick it off a stone.
A phenomenal talent, can still feel the sadness when I heard of his death.

180 years of Cark propaganda and yet imho the best national newspaper. There’s a low bar but a decent journal no less

It isn’t Ireland’s oldest daily newspaper. That distinction belongs to The News Letter

It was the 3rd of September that day I’ll always remember. That was the day my Daddy died.

You were counting down the days for that one I’d say?

I’d to get the green bus back at 11:45pm to Limerick for work the next morning. Ordered my last whiskey in Chaplins at 11:35pm

A grand enjoyable match

A photo landed up on mine as reminder too.
