I’d forgotten the Joe McQuillan narrative. Its amazing how sometimes influential people in a win can be forgotten as the years go by. That win is as much his as any.

Yeah it was a shocker. These things get lost in the mists of time but he was fully on message with hq that day. Kerry had won lots, dublin had lost a load of semis and ‘deserved’ one because of it.
