Just to clear something up as the village weirdo seems intent on making something of it
Everybody invested in Cork hurling, players, supporters etc will want them to win the league, no matter the opposition.
But management in particular will want a test against the best that Waterford can throw at them, if Gleeson was to play there’d be no complaints.
The league is grand but it’s in the hapenny place compared with the Munster Championship

100 percent. A national title is nothing to turn your nose up at. Gives team a lot of momentum going into championship.

In 2018 limerick had a good league and had good momentum built up going into championship. If you take limerick out of it really is wide open so anybody that can get momentum going will go far in the championship.

Limerick won that Munster league in January of 2018 and 10 of the starting team started the all Ireland.
