Why is Gilroy a cunt?
He may not be a cunt at all, I shouldn’t have been so certain,
But he’s a dose to listen to, loves the sound of his own voice more than anybody else on the radio, will never use one word when a hundred will do, never use a simple word when he’s got a clever synonym.
I’d say he could be an excellent and interesting broadcaster with a few tweaks

One thing I was very surprised Kimmage didn’t raise was OTB’s strong ties to gambling. Considering they can be quite preachy on certain subjects. Gambling isn’t one of them since they started taking the coin from bookies. I would have thought that would have been right up Kimmage’s street.

I lost respect for RTE when they lost rights to Premier League highlights, 6 Nations rugby and even some of their Champions League games but persisted paying huge salaries to the likes of Darcy and Tubridy. Dee Forbes and Co. care very little for sport.

The impression I always get is that the top management in RTE aren’t that keen and sport and see it as culturally uncouth almost .
