Fortress Kazakstan is always a tough place to go. The coach has been sacked since, they’ve been well beaten by Belgium and Russia also but I just think those two sides, Belgium in particular are exceptional at the moment. It is Israel they are playing after all, they finished 5th in their qualifying group behind Austria, Poland (which is fair enough) but also Slovenia and North Macedonia.
