Teams are only going to have players made available one week before the tournament. It is a really ill conceived idea

yeah a mid season world cup, at Christmas, in 50 degree heat mightn’t be the best idea Fifa have ever had in fairness.
If John Delaney was still in situ I could have seen us successfully lobbying to get Norway’s spot at this. Or at the very least a nice lump sum for our troubles
