That’s a cracker
I was reading quite a bit about Churchill recently — I didnt know the half of it - a cunt is right but he was a man of his time. It struck me then watching the Darkest Hour last week - In a way i wouldnt be here only for the baldy bastard as my own grandfather was stranded at Dunkirk.
Churchill was a great leader, a man who made pragmatic decisions, if he was oirish, the pretend lads who be wearing tshirts with him on it
Was he in a panzer iv or on the beach?
The reactions to this account are always top notch
The Marina was only the start of the destruction. Allowing Gannon build that monstrosity in Kerkers was a disgrace.
I despaired when the split happened in St Sylvesters and the club agreed to hand back Bridgefield to turn it into a car park.
The cricket club getting bigger and bigger and needing a car park tapped Fingal County Council.
Old Malahide v New Malahide…it was constantly repeated around the village that “the prick (Chairman) from Ard na Greine (near Coolock) sold out”…little did the old lads know that blow ins are far more eager to become part of the community and become Secretary, Chairman, Treasurer and they have little love for the old fields where the kids used to play for years when they yield power.
When FCC came knocking the old lads hadn’t a chance. Now progress ensures there are no GAA fields within walking distance of the village and if you give the ball a good boot over the bar now it’s likely it will land in Portmarnock, not Malahide.
N.B please note @Little_Lord_Fauntleroy campaigned passionately against the GAA giving back Bridgefield but he did it for environmental reasons and pollution only…
The Malahide Lawn Tennis and Croquet club had no act or part in Bridgefield becoming a car park.
Lolz.
The beach, mate.
Had to check given your turkish German links.
I now have an image of harry styles as your grandad
Everyone seems very mean towards that poor chap.
Also a good candidate for the faces you’d love to smack thread.
