I suppose after defending himself against the false rape charge Paddy was broke. Libel cases are notoriously expensive.
He did try to recoup some of his defence costs but I donât know how that went.

A man (or even a woman) is innocent till proven guilty. Paddy is innocent as he was found not guilty. I therefore believe that the charge was false.

The rape trial was one of the saddest episodes in the forums history.
Just on a point of order kid. Being found not guilty doesnât mean one is innocent. It simply means that there wasnât enough evidence to prove beyond a reasonable doubt that the defendant committed the crime
