Ah donât worry, McIlroy will give us plenty of ammo tomorrow as he slinks into 4th or 5th place with a missed putt on the 17th
Absolutely. A message of congratulations from the local Member of Parliament as well. Regent House has produced some of the finest Ireland rugby internationals down through the years. Rhys continuing a terrific sporting tradition.
Theyâll have to replace the statue of Edward Carson at Stormont with one of Luke Carson now.
An Angel Of The North type statue of Rhys McClenaghan on the motorway into Belfast would be most appropriate I feel
Congratulations from Lord Kilclooney too

Anyone else thinking of getting an Olympic rings tattoo?
1,500 metres mens repechage.
Go on!
Great run from Cathal Doyle there to win it and make the semi finals.
Lovely win!
Fair play to the lad
Thatâs what the Olympics is all about, well done young man, great run
Doyle what a run
Savage run from Doyle
Fair fucks to Doyle. Heâs a pure battler. Hopefully Coscoran gets through now too.
A great run⌠What a day to be Irish
These repechage races are a great idea. Even if Cathal Doyle goes no further in the 1500 metres - and he probably wonât - heâll always have won a 1500 metres race in the Olympics. A memory of a lifetime for an athlete.
When will Cathal Doyle ever experience crossing the line first in the Olympics again. The Repechage is a random addition but is really adding to things. The womenâs 800m Repechage was absolutely cut throat earlier.
Like when GAA went from straight knockout and introduced the back door, it has added a bit of a spark to proceedings
Doyle has racing hardiness, even though the other two lads might be considered smoother & more naturally talented runners.
He certainly wasnât taking any shit when he made the move anyway. I thought he was going to straight shove one lad off the track at one stage.
