Yeah, on the basis the 4x400m team could qualify for a final & Becker with the best will in the world would be one of the slowest in the individual semi-finals even if she came through the repechage tomorrow. Maybe a bit more complicated for Mawdsley as she’s faster & on an upward curve. But as TUM said, hard for someone to give up the chance of competing in the Olympics when they all have their personal goals.
