If we could get some of the kinnerk ball hammer throwers into track and field we could clean up in four years time.

All the money devoted to national hunt racing so Colm Meaney doesn’t lose face against Peter Crouch and Barry from EastEnders

Irish ladies sprint cycling team set a decent time which was blown out of the water by the French team. Eight of ten teams go through to tomorrow, Ireland will need another team long with Japan to finish outside their time to qualify

Australians just set a new best mark

Is it true that all the stud fees and other money they make is all tax free?

No since 2007 they are taxed.

Was a horse’s medal the only one we’ve ever had stripped off us at an Olympics? The only athlete I ever remember getting sent home was Cathal Lombard, but he hadn’t step foot on the track at that stage.

The horseys have ruined a few lads week it seems

Like I said, the obsession with punditry

Not sure what you expect them to show.

Doom for Alexander Doom as he pulls up Derek Redmond style in the 400 metres semi-final.

Quincy Hall looks like a winner. There’s a reassuring feeling when the 400 metres is won by an American named Quincy.
