This is generally considered bad form in the states - scoring with seconds left in a dead game.
Thought she was just pulling up but looked fairly spent by the end.
Hopefully sheāll at least manage Bronze and with a bit of luck anything above will be a bonus.

And Caribbean Media reporting that Pryce was ill in the build up to the semi final, hence her bad run.
Media reports seem to be that either Rhasidat is sick herself, or got spooked by the Bahrain one passing her so early and completely lost her form. Maybe everyones expectations being tempered a bit isnāt a bad thing.

It was really petty, US led by 30 early in the 4th. Nigeria got it back to about 15 and seemed to be in good spirits about not getting hammered by the US.
US get the ball with 30 left, have a shot blocked and end up running down the shot clock, Nigeria get it back with 7 seconds left and score a lay up with a second left and it gets a big cheer from the crowd. The American one then takes the ball and petulantly hops it off the Nigerian one and then starts mouthing off and shaping and sees a load of players convergence jaw away at the Nigerians.

Isnāt this a thing in gridiron too? If youāre hammering someone in the 4th quarter the culture is to sub off your starters & just play down the clock without necessarily trying to score. Did Belichick get criticism for pushing the Patriots to run up the score in the past? Maybe my recollection is incorrect though. Didnāt realise it was disrespectful for the team being beaten to attempt to score themselves though.
