They ran out their shot clock and it would be assumed and general play that the opposition would do so also given the game is technically over. But fuck them, they left enough time on the clock to score.
I didnt see the last quarter, but its been said the US eased off and allowed the Nigerians get a run. They probably ran the bench as well. So they’d have assumed the Nigerians would have been happy enough with that.
Either way, you can see me woman regretted throwing the ball at the Nigerian as soon as she did it.

This isn’t the pro game where you have another game in a few days… Nigeria were exiting the Olympics and wanted to go out with a score… Nothing wrong with it. The yanks think the world owe them a living.
