Paul Galvin

In the minor story in this thread it appears Galvin may be upshit creek. Was reading the examiner there, kid was sitting at the back of classroom. Must have been facing the back wall at the time as the duster came back off the wall and split him in the forehead. Gardai are involved too going on the report. Earlier stories about this incident being a bizarre accident are well off the mark it seems.

  1. Galvin was some fool for throwing the duster in the first place. The hard man act doesnt appear to have paid off in this instance.

  2. Gobshites on here blaming the media, pretty obvious it was one of the kids or their parents that ran to the Sun. Nice few quid in it probably.

  3. Most likely outcome is that Galvin will be suspended for a while, kid will get a pay off from school or Galvin. No point going to court now as he has been shamed enough.

  4. And this is the most telling point, NCC’s reputation on the internet has been terminally damaged.

Country bumpkin school teacher acts like a country bumpkin, the fact that the teacher is an agriball practicioner is not important although it is ironic that it is the agriball supporting simpletons that insist on making it a story by maintaining it is not one.

The bigger story that nobody dares mention is that two top agriball kickers will this year be exposed as being their sisters nephew.

Lets discuss that.

How did NCC make a fool of himself lads what did I miss

Exactly what happened?

Stuff like this is usually covered up in Kerry. If it ever goes to court, there’ll be 10k people queuing up to shake his hand before he’s given the probation act by a kindly old judge who played junior hurling with his father Tadgh in Lixnaw in the 60s. Meanwhile the kid’s family will be burnt out of their home.

No, that would only apply if he raped the kid SS. In this case, he has, well he’s done fuck all really. Storm in a tea cup. Galvin seems like an alright sort to me, although I still think he should have been suspended for a year for the referee incident.

Galvin tried to accost the ref just there in the Kerry v Dublin league game…

What did he do Dunph…

The ref gave a free against him in the dying moments of the game with Kerry in arrears, Galvin went to grab at the ref, presumably to assault him, the ref managed to squirm out of it…

The lads on TG4 nearly had a conniption when they saw it
Then they realised where they were broadcasting from and said nothing about it because they wanted to make it home safely…

Rory Hickey was reffing it and he would be a cool enough operator…nothing more than Hi Jinx I hope

He came very close to being gone for good today. But for Hickey was turning away at the time Galvin could have flattened him. He must be as thick as pig shit.

Clever lad

That Ref

I think you really meant to say “more sinned against than sinning”

about 5 mins in.

Pay particular attention to his statue imitation afterwards; “Oh fuck what’'ve I done” springs to mind; reminds me of Peadar Carton actually

seriously, you watched this and thought Galvin was close to flattening him but for the ref turning away?

get a grip forfucksake.

I got back to the tv for this incident, and honestly nothing in it made me think “he’s lost it again”.

Some people just love to get the aul back up. Looked at highlights of game and thought Galvin was excellent.

We are still waiting for Carton here in Tipp. B)

He could have killed him
