AXA don’t even ask for your licence number.
Again if you have an accident and haven’t told them about your points I doubt you’re insured
Be some nasty fucking act to drive without a license
I’d say they check if you have a claim though.
Your licence is deemed invalid, don’t think there’s a formal procedure like handing it in.
You will not be insured as you can’t be without a valid licence. There is a declaration of utmost good faith on insurance applications.
You could continue to drive… But the courts take a very dim view of driving with no insurance and this would lead to a far longer ban than the 12 months for points disqualifications.
For a while in tanland you could if you got upped from 9 to 12 points, opt for a driving ban, but this set your points tallly back to zero.
You’d have to be an awful simpleton to get 12 points
This doesn’t sound good boss. How bold have you been?
My insurance had my 3 points on my premium including offence date on my renewal. I didnt tell them. I obviously was going to tell them when renewing etc.
Aviva ?
Yup it was. Switched to Zurich for a finish saved a few hundred quid
They have access to points. I think you agree to giving them access in terms and conditions
Doesn’t bother me tbh @Foggydew post had me question it. I rather them know if someone has excessive PPs and up their premium due to it. As much as cunts insurance company’s are thats a fair loading and encourages people not to break laws of the road
You’d think he’d be a bit too old for acting the scamp.
I didn’t. Everybody seems to be very vague on it though.
Problem is I drive 45mph everywhere.
Seriously though. I used be able to drive from LK to KK in two hours and ten minutes door to door. Now it takes me two and a half hours with all the speed zones.
There’s a specific offence for not surrendering your licence on the day of the court, you’ll see it printed on the ticket or summons or whatever. The district courts office collate a list of disqualified drivers, and whether the licence was handed in or not; and pass it on to the local Garda HQ.
I’d expect you get a reminder visit from the local traffic corps.
What can’t be true?
Some guy on facebook offering to clean your licence. See the about section.
