They should lighten up a bit.
Quite a few medical practitioners **

What thread would this be on?
Talk to joe
I was just in with the consultant to see how my knee is progressing after the arthroscopy I had before Christmas. He said to me to keep up the work on the cross trainer and spinning (cycling) but no running. I didn’t have the heart to tell him that he doesn’t know what he is talking about because some lad (kev) on the internet that knows everything, told me that spinning is bad for me.
kev is right
A guy who fought cancer with exercise and little else. He changed his lifestyle. He did take some drugs but no chemo or anything that invasive. It worked.
Many people like himself who make more money than any of the strength & conditioning staff outside the head job in any Rugby or Soccer Premership team or equivilant.
A guy who works full time as a consultant with MMA fighters on S&C.
A few hot birds in his time. And some famous ones too.
Piggy backing and probably over exaggerated. But the key is timing. Sugar in the morning does mean you will crave more as the day goes on so its an important point.
Diet, obesity, poor nutritional choices are extremely complex and the best Nutritionists (and not bullshitters) i know often are at worst excellent amateur psychologists and very often have recognised quals in psychology and indeed sometimes have Bio-Chem degrees or the likes.
Personal Trainers are not nutrionists, and while some are very good on that front and have some specific qualifications and tell people they are not nutritionists, the vast majority are absolutely bull shitting and just cogging shite from other trainers who cogged it from a nutritionist somewhere (if you are lucky) or worst case scenario a mis-informed newspaper or magazine article.
I’m not talking about Dan here to be clear, know little about him only he is good at marketing.
I agree with everything you have said there
I agree with everything you have said there too.
