Scoring a hat trick last night is fine but it’s an anomaly when it comes to the crunch for a player who is supposed to be the best in the world. He needs to drag his team to a World Cup to be the greatest, in the past he has take a back seat and let the lesser likes such as Di Maria and Mascherano be the key men for Argentina.
Turning up once every four games shoudln’t be enough to retain his place in the team nevermind being hoisted about as a great by false prophets.
