Saw him for UCD in the Fitzgibbon v UL last week and he looked two stone overweight. Made no impression on the game at all to be fair.

I always thought he looked a little cumbersome. He had that great all Ireland final, but that was in part due to poor game management by Galway. He was kept very quiet by either Clare or limerick in the u21 before that. Obviously a great hurler, but I would suspect he won’t win a handful of all stars. You never know though. Stranger things have happened. That was a poor kk side, who IMO were there for the taking. It was collective self belief on their part, and lack thereof on galways part that got them through.
