Behind the Bastards started a multi-parter about the famine this week.
First episode is a very general history pre the famine and was pretty good, a few minor historical inaccuracies aside (Brian Boru v the Normans for example).

They are using Tim Pat Coogans writing as a major source though, so some lads mightn’t take to it.
