Flatty, get the fuck out of this thread right now!
That’s awful. My ma usually buys hummus, feta and sundried tomatoes off you down the market by the way.
Why? McGowan was a drug addict with thrice the genius of Pete Doherty.
Maybe it was your aunt I deficated on so … Get her to say ‘Suarez is a King’ next time she is in and i’ll sort her out.
The music world is jammed fucking packed with brilliant drug addicts.
Maybe that is why they were so brilliant.

Your spelling is atrocious today. Sort it out.
Game of Thrones is not that good.
There is nothing particularly compelling, or indeed original, about the characters or the overarching concept. It’s a very ordinary work with a massive production budget.
The Kaiser Chiefs
The Cranberries
Franz Ferdinand
Kasabian
Iron Maiden
The Police
The Darkness
Mumford and Sons
Roxy Music
T-Rex
The Who
AeroSmith
The Smashing Pumpkins
Billy Corgan is a bell-end but the Smashing Pumpkins have some great tunes. I agree with most of the rest on your list…except The Who perhaps.
I think The Modern Age by the Strokes is a terrific song.
Someone had it in their top 100.
As is Someday and Hard to Explain. Soma and Take It or Leave it are good tunes too. Is This It is a great album.
+1 pal. When was Is This It released? Summer of 2001 is in my head anyway. Great days, mate.
Working summers in Wexford Creamery with my great buddy @Appendage while in college.
Drinking midweek pints with the likes of @Dex, @Bainne, @superleeds, @Cesc4 and @LetterkennyMan in Mooney’s and then Tommy & Mocha in The Crown on Thursday nights.
Wexford winning the Leinster U21 and rebounding from a Leinster Final hammering to defeat Limerick in the senior quarter final.
Ireland qualifying for the World Cup thanks to Robbie Keane and Big Mick McCarthy.
And The Strokes was the soundtrack to that wonderful summer.

Funnily enough, I was going out with a girl from Wexford for about 6 months when the album was released and many of the songs remind me of her. Happy times.
Whatever happened her mate?
Just drifted apart as young lovers tend to do, pal.
It is certainly a landmark album.
