Nope you don’t even have to run in your own constituency just need to an Irish citizen over the age of 21. You could live and vote in donegal and run in cork

Agree with this. It’s easy enough to be a lad screaming on Twitter. But it would be brilliant if he could hold his own in a real live debate and politics is difficult. There are lads who had a lot more political experience and were better journalists than Ewan who shat the pot when the time came to actually run. Think Tintin, David McWilliams, Dunphy et al. The only ones who did it were George Lee and Shane Ross. And look how they made out…
