it’ll back to normality by 1 september
all those thoughts of remote working etc , will be swept away
its nice to think you can spend more time with the family or what not but The Man has no intention of managing lads who arent in the office , id advise all lads to be seen to be getting the jacket back over that chair pretty quick or you’ll be spending all the time you want playing with the kids on the dole.
the smart lads are ahead of game now by finding ways to get back onsite and supporting calls to get folks back in, there is opportunity there.
We’ve discussed visability in the work place before and its 99% of the job, talk the talk and carry the water if needed - fellas will find out pretty fast it cant be done from their kichen table

with a huge recession as well meanwhile the stock market is soaring

Me? I’m gonna to drink a lot of beer and stay out all night!!

Mick was queuing from 5:30am for ikea this morning. The same people giving out about others queuing for donuts at 2am no doubt.

At the risk of going over old ground again, to say that 400k have died from Covid-19 is categorically wrong.

What’s 400k as a percentage of 8 billion?

Correct. It may be a lot higher

I resolve to cause another lockdown. I’m fucked after my first day back

40,000 were meant to be dead in Ireland at this stage

fellas there saying today was their “first day back to normality”, " the boredom was incredible", “getting back to a bit of work again”, “id lost all sense of routine”, " mad to get to the GAA and the lads…", fuckers have been sitting on their holes for 3 solid months apart from breaking to applaud the so called frontline staff the odd thursday at 8pm before the novelty wore off
what the fuck have people been at lads? ive never been busier at work and if i wasnt id be doing something about it over the last few months

Oh I forgot that one, makeshift mortuarys with thousands laid out dead in the likes of Cusack park in Ennis. What in the name of jesus were people thinking. Believing that guff. Its all the Italians fault. The made a total Hames of it and destroyed the whole world. This thing is a cod, a seasonal flu that is dying out

The likes of @mikehunt thoughts jcbs would have been brought in to dig mass graves to put bodies into. Like a ww2 concentration camp

It’s hardly surprising is it?

I’m going to drop a stone so I have room to put it back on when the pubs open

A temporary mortuary was built in Sarsfield Barracks in Limerick. Capacity for 450 bodies.

Given the scenes in Italy and Spain, surely they were right to make some degree of preparations? The same lads who will give out now about them, would have been the ones having a crack off the micks for piling bodies in the ditches like it was the famine.
