@mickee321 is going to double down again
The Marriott in Swansea cancelled the Southampton booking to stay last night at some stage on Sunday. They cited a virus in the hotel but intrepid Southampton staff members uncovered the fact they were still taking bookings* and felt it was funny business in an attempt to disrupt them in this crucial relegation six pointer. The Saints offered to send staff members to the hotel to inspect, but the hotel GM was having none of it.
Apparently it’s the only “EPL standard” hotel option in Swansea so Southampton had to switch to The Vale of Glamorgan Hotel in Cardiff at the eleventh hour, and it would have meant leaving for the stadium at a much earlier time than they’d have wanted. This must have been a sweet win for the Saints in any event but even more so after what they viewed as gamesmanship of this nature.
*by ringing up under the guise of making personal bookings and/or using the various booking sites.
I very much doubt gamesmanship of that kind would have happened on Paul Clement’s watch.
Sparky has done a great job at Southampton.
Lee Mason has screwed Chelsea all night here.
Dry your eyes mate, are you Chelsea now?
No fucking harm.
What a goal
Wonderful scenes from Stamford Bridge
Real Yorkshire grit
Never underestimate Yorkshire grit particularly against a crowd of show ponies from the London west end.
A Huddersfield point at Stamford Bridge all but confirms relegation for the hapless Carlos Cavalhal and his Swansea side after a run of 7 games without a win. One shrewd observer sort of called this one from the very start.
Incorrect,get your facts right
Great result for spurs tonight, real bottle shown to ensure CL football again
It’s the closest a Spurs fan will get to a lap of honour this season
Sky have nothing to hype up now for Sunday- thanks to be god the hurling is back
“Pride Sunday”.
That title could upset the homophobes though.
Surely Chelsea will sell on that useless cunts morata in the summer…
How much did they shell out for him?
