Premier League 2020-2021

You’re hardly asking to back up claims with actual facts are you? It doesn’t work like that here. You make a claim, stick to it, and when questioned just keep shouting “rattled” at all the doubters

@Gman badly rattled that a manager he described as out of his depth is matching klopp

Man United are gone from 15/1 to 7/1 to win the EPL - is it value ???

October 2020 - Gman "Ole is shite, he has to be sacked
December 2020 - Gman “where are all the detractors and lambasters now, Ole is doing a great job”

Something like that?

Bruno Fernandes has had a transformative impact. A hidden gem in the Portuguese league until the age of 25. His goals and assist stats are very impressive.

So the most successful league club in English history with a 1 billion pound squad are 2 points behind Liverpool and are 8 to 1. I wonder what the bookies think will hold united back?

He went to Serie A with Sampdoria and was sent back to Portugal with his tae in a mug.

He’s a good player though.

Serie.a flop
Epl superstar

Starting to look like their name is on the Cup.

It’s hilarious. Lads can’t give ole a tiny bit of credit for the job he’s done.

He basically had no credentials for the job, took over a complete shit show and in his second full season at the club has man united challenging for the title.

It’s absolutely hilarious. Klopp broke the transfer record multiple times and took him four or five seasons to win a league and all we heard was he was sort of miracle worker that reinvented the game.

The cult of Klopps can’t bear what ole is doing as he is proving what everybody with a brain knows that the epl is bang average league and it takes very little winning.

It simply doesn’t suit the narrative we listened to all last season.

Ole matching Klopp this season has burst few bubbles

Never a truer word spoken. The standard in the EPL is shocking, especially given the money spent. Any team that gets a half decent manager or picks up a few genuine bargains can win it.

Burst a few bubbles? If man united win the league I’m expecting a few posters to self combust.

Fellas like Ranieri, Jose, conte and pellingrini came in and won the league in a fraction of the time it’s taken Klopp to deliver one league title. They don’t get any credit ever though.

It simply doesn’t suit the narrative. If Ole wins the league it’ll highlight what complete spoofers the likes pep, Klopp and the fawning media really are.

The epl is muck and takes no winning,

It’s basically a retirement league now. Look at the two thiagos and Cavani coming to the epl from the likes of PSG and Bayern.

It’s such an awful standard nowadays but that doesn’t suit the narrative that was peddled last season.

Leicester picked up a few bargains (Kante and Mahrez) that turned into genuine players and managed to win the league despite having Danny Drinkwater, Wes Morgan and Robert Huth starting every week.

Conte came over, took two hidings, switched to a three at the back and, without signing anyone, won the league at a canter.

Any half decent Spanish team generally beats an English team in Europe

That’s it but it simply doesn’t suit this bizarre narrative we here. In fairness to Leicester they’ve a decent scouting system and have picked up a lot of bargains. There’s 7 or 8 clubs with two or three signings could easily win the league next season.

Agreed. For some reason this Liverpool team that won 1 (wan) league title was elevated into the pantheon of great teams. They’re very good (they walked the league in fairness) but you need more to be considered a great team imo

Is that the famous ‘narrative’ ?

That is the narrative

To be a great team in a European context you’d want to be winning back to leagues and a champions league in the same season.

Liverpool are very average with 3 very good players who can simply out run most teams.

If this current Liverpool squad/management were parachuted into the mid 00s epl they wouldn’t get top four.

It’s so so sweet seeing what ole is doing.
