Ten Hagg has done a decent job year one. A trophy, possibly 2 , and CL football.
Theyâll need another big summer tho as a few players, Casimero / Eriksson, are papering over cracks and are not long term options.
Youâd imagine Newcastle will spend big also. Saudi Arabia will want a marquee player and if they wanna keep top 4 while playing CL football theyâll need more quality.

Pity City are so far ahead of the field. You could conceivably have 7 teams contesting the title if it werenât for that. Surely Chelsea will get the collective finger out next year. Liverpool and Tottenham can hardly be as bad again and Brighton, if they can hang on to their better players, might well be top 4 material.
