Price of a Haircut

Limerick in France you mean?[/quote]

Lamereeeeek is how they pronounce it

When compared to Limerick prices…

Oh right.

10 euro haircut there down in the Kings head just off Pearse street in our nations capital.
Noble!

Yours in Mohawks,
GSH.

£15 or the equivalent of €17.22 for a haircut :o , f*ck this. Time to buy a clippers and do it myself.

WTF? How?

That’s what haircuts cost. My stylist is quite reasonable at a mere €25.

FFS did the barber have a big window?

the little indian around the corner here is 6 quid.

A blade 4 all over from my mother every 6 weeks is the job. Hair “styles” are for women and footballers.

It turned out the place I went to had a number of barbers who were working for themselves but renting use of the premises. There was around 10 lads waiting for 1 barber, so i went for the lad who was at nothing and low and behold got robbed for a dodgy haircut. I’ll know in future anyway.

After 20 odd years of seeing professionals cut my hair I decided I could do the same on the boys at home. Did a noble job on the first fella but the second said no thanks and ran out of the room. He’ll be back because I’m not paying 20 quid a pop for the two of them to get the hair cut every time. Fook that.

Piles Hussain steadfastly refused to pay the minimum €22 for a haircut in Luxembourg so arrived home for a mate’s wedding at the weekend sporting roughly 4 months’ hair growth.

Ohhhh, don’t think the world is ready for that look. That’s a lot of ginge…

I felt I had to make the effort for a special occasion.

On my first visit back to this chap yesterday i came away feeling extremely unsatisfied and short changed. He ploughed through my hair in about 6-7mins as though he had somewhere to go and didn’t follow my very basic instructions. He didn’t even offer to trim my eyebrows. I’ve not been this unhappy since i got a haircut from hell from an unnamed barber store on William Street in Limerick when i was 16yrs old and had to get Tournafulla Man to tidy it up later that afternoon. I was thoroughly looking forward to many months and possibly even years of a fruitful relationship with this barber but i now am really at odds with what to do next. His first effort was so good that i am left considering giving him a second chance, maybe he’s an alcoholic.

Given the frequency of haircuts that seem to be necessary for you Dunph, you should strike up a relationship with some young wan who works in a hairdressers who’ll do it for you at home and then do you. A win win situation as such.

Not a bad idea, but i find women can’t cut mens hair.

I used to think that, but there are two (very attractive) ladies at my local barbers now who do an excellent job.

Now that I think of it, I used to go to a barber in Harold’s Cross when I lived in Dublin and a young lady used to cut my hair there, she was excellent and good fun too. I was considering asking her out until her rather large boyfriend walked in one day with a bacon roll for her.
