Price of a Haircut

Having your hair washed is a waste of time, I wash my hair every morning in the shower, I don’t need them wash it again. They can just use their water gun if they need to wet it up a little bit during cutting.

Even though my eyebrows are all over the place I won’t trust some cunt to trim them either.

I wouldn’t trust some cunt either mate. Get a professional to do it. Like a barber maybe.

Stopped off on the way home from work in the Barbers in Merrion Shopping Centre today due to time constraints. €18 which is steep and shur you can hardly put the paw out for the €2 so €20. However, that is not the worst bit. I asked for my usual of late which is cut short on back and sides and a trim on top. She took half an hour and I was very restless and annoyed by the time she was done.

The strangest part though, and this has never happened to me before, is that you can’t actually tell I’ve gotten my hair cut apart from a tidier neck. I was thinking at the time that there was little enough hair on the ground but this is fucking bizarre. Herself hasn’t even noticed yet and I’d say I’ll have to get it cut again in the next 10 days or so.

I think I will petrol bomb the Merrion Shopping Centre tomorrow.

A prepaid barber shop pal?

or did you get suckered into paying for something you didnt ask for?

Now getting the hair cut by the lovely Amy in the Turkish barber in Midleton. She knows what cut I want and the banter is good. Ben & Jerry also go to her, both cuts for €15 all in. Swate as a nut

You’re weak, we know. Simples.

I got a brilliant cut the other day. Oh we had an unbelievable laugh too. I’ll expand on it when there’s not a 51 lock in.

I got my hair cut for €8 this morning and I’m very pleased with how it turned out

@Kinvara’s Passion and @Mac not a prepaid haircut and I am not weak. I had a lot on yesterday and was rushing around yesterday which is why I went to that particular barber shop. She was taking an age and then drying it with a hair dryer afterwards and I thought it just looked like she had taken more off than what she had. I only ever get a trim anyway so there wouldn’t be that much taken off usually.

Anyway after styling it the way I wanted to this morning I am less disconcerted with it and I actually look very handsome so I do.

Beauty in in the eye of the beerholder.

I won’t stand by and let @Horsebox attack the barbers in the Merrion shopping centre. I’ve been going there for a few years, and they do a fine job, though admittedly it is always that bit better when you get the Armenian lad that seems to run the place. The Lithuanian bird is quite chatty, which I surprisingly don’t find annoying as I usually hate talking to people. Haircut probably takes a few minutes longer than it would in other places, but I have no issue with them putting a bit of extra care into it. Also, it’s €16 for a cut there, not €18.

I’ll have to take issue with there braz. That lady is indeed very chatty(thin blonde lady?) but what I have a problem with is how long she took to do a trim(30 minutes) and how little she took off. Also, the price for a scissors cut is €18-razor and scissors cut is €16. There is a pricelist in the place-please confirm this the next time you are in there as I won’t have my integrity questioned on TFK.

You cunt.

Please expand on your hair style. A trim on top and cut short at the sides without any blade involvement is the hair cut of a middle aged gentleman.

That’s the girl alright. If you’re going to insist on having every bit of hair cut by scissors and not let them put a blade to it then it is going to take some time.

Not it is not, pal and I wonder about the mentality of a man who thinks that. I get my hair scissors cut, reasonably short with the fringe swept to the side. I am guessing you are a number two back and sides and a cut short on top man-nothing wrong with that either but to suggest that my fashionable hairstyle is that of a middle aged gentleman is laughable.

Make them work for my money-that’s my motto, mate.

She is friendly and all but has very quick, nervous moments and it is actually almost tiring to watch her go about her work.

This is the closest I could get to it, pal except mine is slightly shorter on top and I am obviously a lot better looking.

@Horsebox, that’s a look I’d associate with Nick Faldo or somebody. I was once a 2 on the back and sides blended into a 4 on top but I’m now a 4 on the back and sides with a scissors cut on top. Either way, you must embrace the blade.

For fuck sake €18 for a fucking trim. More money than fucking sense.

Hopefully from your arm pits or you were ripped off!
