Popped in to a barber today for quick trim. No waiting, straight to the chair. His conversation opener was 'you following the rugby? A curt ‘no’ for a conversation stopper and I was out the door in ten minutes.
Ten minutes would be a quick haircut. Are you fairly bald?
It’s efficient.
A bald ignoramus by the sounds of it
Christ. You did well not to chin the cunt. Absolute pig ignorance from the prick after using the barber’s as a creche. If the barber was any good he’d have ushered him to the back of the queue too
Just got a haircut and beard trim.
No incidents of note or complaints to report.
How much?
€18 + €8 = €26.
I handed Awa €30 and wished her an enjoyable upcoming holiday in Florida.
The boom is most certainly back.
Did any of her lady parts brush off you that made you either uncomfortable or a little excited?
It’s quite possible to think that Bandage handed away €30 in a Wexford accent
Brought Rascal to the barber today. Mrs Hunt had been doing it herself after he wreaked havoc in a barbers a good while ago. The home haircut was becoming too traumatic for both so said I’d chance the barber again.
In we go and luckily he was next in line. Once his turn came I told the barber Rascal would be a challenge and that he was afraid of among other things, scissors, razors and hair dryers. I wished the barber good luck as I retreated to the seating area.
Rascal was completely at ease with the barber as he used razor, scissors and hairdryer. While witnessing this transformation I realised that Rascal only wants a man to cut his hair as the only other time he sat still for a haircut was with a male barber. Game changer. Generous tip given. Treats for Rascal and relieved parents.
The misogyny crew will sink their teeth into this
I’ve lost control of my haircut cycle due to either bad weather on a few different days when I had planned a trip or the barber or generally being busy. It’s gotten serious now as I’m at that awful stage where my hair is unkempt but if I go to the barber today then I’ll need another haircut smack bang in the middle of Christmas. It’s very stressful. I’m half thinking of letting things go for another 7-10 days but it would be an unprecedented move.
If it snows next week you could be in all sorts of bother
A Christmas Eve haircut could be a wonderful new @Bandage tradition.
Hold tough, the ideal time is 1-2 weeks. I’m in the same boat myself.
Jesus pal. Thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time
I haven’t had a cut since All Ireland week back in August. I’ve got a wedding this Saturday but used the online booking system to book in for a trim tomorrow. This will do me until Spring. I’ve nailed it this year - four haircuts in 2019.
May I suggest you tell them u only want a small but off. I have become confident in dealing with barbers and am not afraid to explain exactly what I want done.
I got mine cut last week and I had reason to call out the slacker of barber a few times.
- He hadn’t taken enough off the sides.
- I told him to take more off the fringe.
He cheekily started removing the gown without asking me if I thought it was ok.
3. Asked him could he trim the eye brows which he did and he started to take off the gown again and I went ahhh, ears too please.
When I was younger I’d have let all this slide but the more confident/mature me won’t be taken for a ride by these chancers.
What class of a hairstyle have you that can go three months without trims?
