If you’ve got it flaunt it. A few of us have an annual meet up and I always make sure I haven’t had a haircut within 2 months just to annoy them.
It’s the winter. A grand head of hair keeps you warm.

Got the usual 3 back and sides and scissors on top yesterday evening in Karizma in Cork. They’d be my preference for getting the hair cut since I’ve moved down to Cork and I couldn’t fault them. 15 euro for the haircut so I gave him 20 and wished him a Merry Christmas.
I’ll do untold at the Christmas Party tomorrow night

I think I’ll get the fade freshened tomorrow. Having a night out with a few of the young wans at work and need to look the part
I have thought about getting the fade but I’m not sure if it’ll suit tbh.
Have you a high fade or low fade?
I leave that up to the barber. Usually go half blade rather than skin.
I’d say the air hostesses do some laughing at the overweight Limerick roaster in his late 30s with the haircut of a 22 year old

I used to go half blade but dropped to a zero a while back and it’s a much tidier job. Doesn’t look as drastic as a razor fade, it’s the way to go. I’m in need of a haircut now and the last two I’ve gotten have been poor, one bad one compounded by another.
Just catching up on this thread — lads getting their haircut every two weeks??? Fucking mugs.
I’m an 8 week man — used to be six weeks — and it takes an awful lot still to hold out those extra two weeks but it’s worth it. I let my beard and hair go so that things are very bad - then with a fresh cut and shave I usually get 10 days of compliments from people on how fresh and young I look — and the young wans who thought I was a half homeless auld bastard and usually sent reeling when my boyish good looks are front and centre again.
Every two weeks? - No one would even blink and notice — what kind of way is that to live?
