Do what my auld lad did, park up outside the shop at 7:45am even through the barber doesn’t open til 9am and door step him as he is going in the door around 8am and brow beat him into cutting it.

Options on Booksy for Limerick city are:

Tony’s barbershop singland road
Goodfellas in foxes bow
The mobile barber dooradoyle
Billy’s barbershop cornmarket row
R&b upper gerald griffin street
Men with class barbershop high street

Anyone regular at any of these?

Sounds like a classy joint.

I had to make an appointment. I was working nearby so just went up in the morning, stuck my head in the door and got a time for later in the day.

Why don’t you ring them:

Blade’s Barber Shop
Tel:
061 416466
Location:
29 Thomas Street
Limerick City

They’ll have to stop cutting someone’s hair then to answer the phone if I do that. It would weigh on my mind all day if I put someone out like that.

Are barber shops dearer all over the country?

24 quid for a 2 back and sides just now, they are cleaning up

I never have to pay for my haircuts. My lover takes care of it. She is a saint sent from heaven and takes care of all my needs.

She can cut it anywhere.

My usual place is gone from €18 to €22, that’s very saucy for Limerick. The machine I bought during lockdown to do my own cost €22 and I’ve had two cuts with it.

Thats pricey alright, what sort of a tip on top of the €22 are you giving, pal?

13 for a wash and cut for me. Granted it takes longer to wash it than cut it

Garvey’s on Denmark St would be open at 6/6:30 AM, they have been for years anyway. I highly doubt they would have any class of booking system in place.

Shamals at the corner of Cecil and Catherine. Best barbers in town. Think it’s €16 midweek or €18 at the weekend.
