Getting one for the oul lad in a few weeks for his birthday. I’m expecting great things after seeing a thing about them on Capital D. I’d be interested to hear anyone’s experience of them here…?

Rintintin made up a batch of it when we 16 or 17. I’d say most of it is still up in his attic, it was woeful stuff altogther.
Jacks in the Sackville are a temple of fine art, nothing like having a jimmy riddle in Victorian Barrhead Pottery urinals that have been there since the 1800s.

Pint is not bad either.
Ah there ya are.

It could be fermented to perfection by now, check that out. Rintintin’s Private Reserve.

In the year of our lord 2000 and 2001 you could get pints in Peigs of Nassau Street / Kildare Street for 1

All drinks 1, had some nights in there, not to mention outside. The amount of people riding, puking, and fighting all along Nassau St of a Monday night would be mental.

Mentioned it here before. You’d spend 10 quid at the bar buying drink for yourself cos it’d take half an hour to be served. Used to drink a concoction of Double Vodka, Double Peach Schnapps and a Bacardi Breezer Lemon all mixed in a pint glass for a fiver. 3 of them for the night would send you to lala land.

When I started boozing you could get 4 pints of Murphys for 4.50. 1.50 each and it was buy 3 get the fourth free promo that lasted for years. I didnt drink Guinnes til I was about 25 as a result, I was institutionalised to Murphs even though its rotten.

In 2000, the Kitchen nightclub on a tuesday was vodka 1 redbull 1. Go up with a fiver and get a quadruple vodka and red bull. Insane stuff, I was 18 at the time. Great days.

Ever visit The Globe or Voodoo Rooms for the 1 drinks on Mondays and Tuesdays? I got barred from the Globe for a long time after one of them nights. Used to be some craic though. 20 and you would be balubas.

Is this in Limerick? I used go down to visit buddies in UL and we go to the Globe, it was some shit like VOdka Ice was 1 euro, i drank about 20 bottles of it in there one day and nearly got colic, was sick for about two weeks from all the sugar

Yip in Limerick, Vatsky and Sitting Bull was the “Vodka and Red Bull”. Very nasty stuff! Ya they used to have that Vodka Ice stuff there alright. Pure syrup.

Last time I was in Crawdaddy a bottle of Vodka Kick or a bottle of Bavaria would only rob €2 from your wallet.

I can’t remember how/why €60 got robbed out of my wallet that night though.

Ah yes, was in The Kitchen a few times but Peig’s was a regular haunt for us in college. I nearly whipped out my lad in there one night in 1st year when I saw two birds going at it. I hadn’t seen anything like that in Mooney’s in Wexford.

you’ll be glad to know peigs is up and running again, in my day mickey money night was the night to be there, doubt much has changed

they’ve birds there for all types, even singing munters for dan:p
