Yeah, Iād accept that. I wouldnāt be a huge fan of his but Iāll give him credit for calling out the hypocrisy that has been apparent from our national broadcaster and a lot of our politicians. Something that a lot of people havenāt had the kahunas to do when given the opportunity.
I donāt believe heās anti lockdown from what Iāve seen of him on Twitter. I think his main bugbear is why is one protest OK in a pandemic and another is not and why are they treated so differently by the establishment.

As you know Iāve a long history with him and heās a complete cunt. (See his defence of Gordon Eliot yesterday.) At school he spoke openly of his admiration for Hitler. The moment when I started to wonder if I was losing something of myself was when I realised how I was cheering him on. Strange times and all that.

No, you hit the nail on the head. The further peope get pushed to extremes the worse society as a whole will operate. A lot of people are very angry, perfect foil for the far right. If they could just drop the racism, anti LGBT and fruitcake conspiracy theories they could actually be on to something.

In societal terms, weāre in a very dangerous place atm. You have the extreme left and the extreme right basically arguing for the same thing but going at it from two different directions. You actually also have two groups in the middle. One group are just about holding it together and depending on what direction the government take us will veer either to the extreme left or right as they make up their mind which side will get them where they need to be. You then have another group of which I am part of and make no apologies for. Thatās the "Iām alright Jack " group. This is the group to which this whole thing has been little more than a minor distraction. Some working from home still on full pay and whose greatest irritation is that their sick looking at their partners and kids 7 days a week but apart from that bouts if boredom is as bad as it gets. Others then lime me who continue to go to work every day and whose main gripe is I canāt go to a match and again the odd bout of boredom. One of the groups I have a huge amount of sympathy for thoug are pr6 the over 70s brigade. This thing will take a minimum of two years off what time they have left. By that I mean, itās two years where they will have very little physical contact with their immediate families and as they enter their twilight years, itās two years that they will never ever get back regardless of status.

Whatever about far right or left there is no question now that we have a cosy elite creaming from the top. They are rubbing it in peoples faces too and people are taking notice and reacting here now whereas they might not have before.
I think there needs to be fundamental changes, what other countries have their media and politicians befriending and cosying up so much? They need to spend less time liking each others posts on social media. Its a terrible look
I agree completly on the damage this has done to those in their more developed twilight years. Every day to them is precious yet theyāve been told itās all being done for their benefit. Iāve been talking to people in their golden years who last year might have been in fear whereas now they are like fuck this let us live ye cunts.
