Grand if youâre only in for the drink. Can just suck down cheap cans at home to bate the band. Itâs the social aspect that most miss I imagine.

Buying drink in supermarkets and charging full retail, poor hygiene levels and filthy bathrooms and poor pay for poorly trained staff who will serve underage patrons no problem.
There are great publicans out there undoubtedly but there are a large % of cunts.

but yet youâve just brushed them with one lick of paint saying they are all greedy. If thereâs one industry thatâs been more fucked over than most in the last twenty years itâs pubs. They are far from greedy must of them are broke and wonât reopen again.

15 years working in the Industry gave me a fair handle on it alright.
Iâd like to see alcohol sales in supermarkets banned or at least a huge tax placed on them. We should have pubs and proper off licences. Supermarkets at this stage are probably selling alcohol at a loss just knowing the footfall will cover it. I think itâs costsa coffee who run stores at a loss to put other coffee Shops out of business. I think these supermarkets like Aldi and that are border line evil.

Dont see the public supporting the hike in off licences and supermarkets but maybe a reduction in excise duty and vat for pubs would help
