Pubs opening

The still house

Ya the still house or Jerry Flannerys are probably the closest things in limerick to a sports bar. Iā€™d imagine itā€™ll be busy wherever though.

That makes so little sense itā€™s hilarious

You are better off being a nightclub now

Itā€™s like staying up till 3am to do an overdue college paper and deciding ā€˜fuck it thatā€™ll doā€™

And it still appears that sitting at the bar in a pub is outlawed.:roll_eyes:

So pubs are back to normal basically?

Yes. Except for the 5% of pubs who like bringing awkwardness upon themselves or those unlucky enough to get the curtain twitchers reporting them.

Weā€™re back

I heard a lot of places were just putting barrels in front the counters. Same difference essentialy, you just have to leave your pint on the barrell not he counter. Some places were even putting small tables by the bar counters. Its been working great apparo, the new normal etc

Jim Cashmans bar on the radio there this morning. You wonā€™t be getting in without a covid pass.

Grand spot to sit down outside with a few pints and watch the world go by.

Assume it was Donnacha that was on?

Donā€™t know. Was on Morning Ireland. Some lug with a flat Cork accent.

Iā€™ve seen that.

Iā€™ve often forgotten to put the pint on the barrel and placed it on the bar.

I imagine any pubs that have security on the door will do it. Not too much more effort tbf

Are beer gardens the same as normal?
