fifty million pints going rotten

We cannot allow this to happen

Fake news all drinks companies collected unused kegs here in the first few days after the closures and gave credit notes. Why would it be any different on the mainland?

They’re not able to write over there

Untrue. They collected a fraction of whats in pubs and just tagged the broached barrells. Then they were considered non essential so collection was stalled. Also you’d want to make sure your locals are cleaning their lines regularly while this is ongoing as the beer co’s themselves have stopped

I’m very worried about a few pubs in my locality in this regard. A few pints may have to left off till the lines are flushed

dirty pipes will be least of yer worries lads

Untrue my missus is FC for a large chain of pubs and all of theirs were collected. Sake for a mate of mine who owns a pub in the south west.

There’ll be lads drinking it straight from the keg by the end of this.

They are misinformed bro

West Brit cunt … or maybe you mean the mainland as in continental europe?

If those 50 million pints are anything like 90% of the pints I’ve gotten in the UK, they were going to be rotten anyway.

9/11 caused the war in Iraq which led to Russia completely turning its back on the west, and ultimately the rise of ISIS. It caused the war in Afghanistan. It led to Bush winning in 2004 which led to the global financial crash. The Arab Spring would likely not have happened without all that. The war in Syria would likely not have happened. Russia might not have invaded Ukraine or Georgia. It wouldn’t have invaded Syria. Remain would probably have won the Brexit referendum, or the Brexit referendum wouldn’t have happened. Trump would not have happened. The rise of the current world fascist alliance most likely wouldn’t have happened.

By god I hope the pubs open soon if I’ve to keep reading this stuff every night :joy::joy:

You’re watching too much Adam Curtis

History is made up of turning points where one event leads to another. Without the financial crash of 1929 you likely don’t get the rise of Hitler.

History does not work in straight lines

That’s sort of the point alright. Individual events end up casting a massive shadow and massively influence what happens after that.
