Paid 350 for a Samsung galaxy tablet at the start of covid to cover us for seesaw school app etc… Did the job well. Got one of the below for the kids last Xmas and its performs just as well as the Samsung. Lots of annoying amazon bloatware but for a 100 euro it does pretty well.

As for parental controls… 2 hours a week of roblox is where its at for us… We’ll see how long that lasts :smirk:

If you go for the Amazon fire you can sideload the Google play store on it handy enough.

Make sure to get a glass screen protector also. A fiver well spent.

Amazon App Store. You’d get the popular apps I’d say but wouldn’t have everything the google play has

Niece subscribes to a Wi-Fi lock :lock: which stops her teen daughter from being online after 9.30( 2 nd year student)
But the devious madam got a work around ( whipped my brothers old iPhone 6 , bought a sim went down the PAYG route) until her mother copped on ( month or so later, couldn’t understand why herself was knackered each morning ,
She’s a good kid but her mother doesn’t handle lies and robbery, even when confronted she was adamant the phone was her mates old one,
Even when my brother brought her to her mates house and her mate said immediately that’s not mine it’s K…… s
Needless to say there was fuckin ructions,
She’s just missed out on a apple 13 for Christmas, teenage girls are crafty devil’s

Buy an nvidia shield best android box on the planet deals on same atm,at least look at the ratings reviews, I’ve my old 2017 one still great, newer model is even better
