Link for download on that page.

Handy tho for downloading and can transfer files to PC if needed but I just work it off chromecast off the phone.

I haven’t done it but I believe you can if you use Chrome to play the video, you just need the Google Cast plugin installed

Or you can get something like Plex.

Realplay cloud is Chromecast compatible and works well with Showbox.

Gmail, do you just play the video straight from Showbox to Chromecast or how do you do it?

I’m assuming I’m Gmail.

I use bubbleupnp. There’s a list of apps that work on chrome cast if you Google it. They’ve now allowed screen mirroring on certain devices now too but that doesn’t work as well at the moment as the specific apps.

The quality on Popcorn Time last night was unreal via the laptop. Perfect HD. Think the Android app supporting Chromecast is still a few weeks away.

I was messing with the screen mirroring from the phone to TV too but the quality on that is average.

Thanks @Gmail

No prob ya thick cunt. Made that delivery for you too and did some marketing on your behalf this evening. A fine aul brew it is.

I have used chromecast with the realplayer app to stream movies on the tv from the computer. You can also stream movies from your computer onto you phone using the realplayer app.

Hdmi cable from a nexus tablet covers everything for us. Analog technology!

Forgive my ignorance now, pal but how does this work? Does it go from the laptop to the phone to the tv? Just a normal Compaq laptop so no apps, an iPhone and a Samsung 42" is what I’m dealing with.

Used popcorn with Chromecast last night to watch Monuments Men. Picture quality was perfect but from about an hour on I had buffering problems every 5/10 mins (which is probably just due to my broadband )

You need the chromcast app on the iPhone (free), the realplayer app (free), a chromecast connected to the tv (they are about €40) and share you video folders on your laptop. You can then, using the realplayer app on your iphone stream the videos from your laptop to your TV or iphone.

Sounds like a lot of fucking around. Far easier to just get Apple TV and rent the movies you want to watch.

Google has stopped working on my iPad. Has anyone any idea what might be the cause? Yahoo is working ok. Haven’t checked any others. Just wont load.
Thanks if anyone can help.

anyone use Mobdro for streaming on android? Have heard they are making it chromecast compatible with their premium version. Have it downloaded and its a fairly decent set up. Has as many, and even more I think, sports channels as that DTV india app, but seems far more stable than that one is.

they way forward

Is it working for you?
I tried a few channels on the chromecast the other night but it kept crashing. I got a new update to Mobdro this morning so maybe that will sort it.

no, hence the question. didnt try it with chromecast yet. hadnt really used modbro much but seems to be best option at the moment.

The free version is supposed to be compatible as of last week. You should see the Chromecast icon available on it if you have the latest version. I download v1.2.4 this morning.
