Question for the techies

Because the encryptions on your sky Q and sky HD boxes are different, it just won’t work unfortunately. It’s a bit of a mine field to be honest and a lot of work. So you have to always assume that anything recorded on a sky box is not retrievable.

Movies and TV Series are easy enough find on torrents but live tv and sports can be trickier.

If someone sends me a voice message on whatsapp, how do I go about uploading that onto TFK?
Samsung Android phone.

:grinning::grinning:

Is there not an option to save it and then just upload as normal.
I don’t have an android myself.

Anyone recommend a good power bank for charging USB C compatible phones. Best selection seems to be Harvey Norman but I was warned off them.

Anker generally decent.

Need guidance from you IT peeps.

Trying to transfer files (photos, videos, etc) from
Android (Samsung Galaxy A21s) to an iPad 9th generation.
Thought the ‘Move to iOS’ would do it handy but the code it’s generating to link the two isn’t working.

Any ideas how to sort it?

Restart both devices and try again.

Tried. No difference.

I’ve never tried to go back to Apple so wouldn’t know much about it really.
Reviews online about it are not good.

I presume you know you can backup the Samsung with Smart Switch on a PC. You could try do it manually then.

Yeah I’m familiar with that but it’s not my phones that are involved, trying to help out a neighbour. I’ll have to commandeer his phone for a day next week

Can you translate this to layman’s English, please? What hardware do I need to buy?

A very cheap computer has been added to this guy’s home network and it’s filtering out all ads on all devices

He’s gone from 100mbps to 10mbps, but he won’t tell you that.

It’s a pain in the hole and basically a waste of time for general browsing.

Back in the 90s, you would read the TV Guide page in the Indo; under each programme listed, there was a 9 digit number (I think) which you could input into your VCR and record the desired show; it would set uo the timings to start and stop ince the show started or finished.

How did this technology work?
