I’ve not got malwarebytes, do you think that will remove it? Have you heard of this virus?

I got it from downloading stuff.

Get Malwarebytes Free Edition and run that.

So herself had a Nokia Lumia 800 but has now changed to an iPhone. But she had texts from her late father on the old phone but they seemed to have been lost. Photos too as the phone won’t connect with the laptop. Any help would be appreciated.
The plan is to get the phone going again, screenshot the texts and then save to the laptop. The Nokia isn’t working so can it be brought back to the shop, slip back in the old sim and get it going again. Or can this be done…?
