Question for the techies

not sure…not my phone

GIGO

Garbage in, garbage out.

Is it macro enabled or did they save it as odt or something by any chance? Confirm it’s a docx file

Try a different doc app. Docs for free or something.

I’m not sure Microsoft have an official word app on IOS

How do I hack into a tfk member account to take control of it ?

The update: plugged in the second one, it works but one cancels the other out and you get no INTERNET. Plugged it out, currently fucked under the stairs

Thanks.

Right lads, looking for advice from IT/tech literate forumites only. I’ve temporarily moved into a new gaffe and given the lease will be short the landlord wants to keep the wifi contract he has and not be changing it. It’s sky and I’m ordinarily Eir but anyway I won’t be getting my own provider in to install new wifi. Main issue is his modem box is hooked up in the corner of the sitting room. In my former residence I’d the modem box in a spare room which allowed me to do some work from home and plug the desktop directly into the modem box. There’s a lot of data in the desktop and need a secure connection so using wireless is not an option. The spare room in the new residence is a long way from the sitting room and upstairs.

I know I can get massive lengths of Ethernet cables to connect the two but it will be unsightly running it up the stairs and down corridors. A colleague of mine suggested you can buy something which mimics your modem box. He says you can simply plug it into a socket in whichever room you like and connect to internet and then just connect your desktop wire into a slot in this thing and bobs your uncle you’ve secure internet connection into your desktop. Anyone know if this is true and what this device would be called and where to buy one?

TP links is what you’re looking for.

You’ve a great way about you.

Is there an option to connect the modem somewhere else or does it have to be in the sitting room ?

They should plugged directly into the wall (not extension lead)

I’m a sound cunt really.

You’re a driver, you’re a winner.

I’ll have to update my Tinder bio to reflect this.
