How wide is ultra wide?
It’s hard to bate the separate screens when your are sharing or on a call etc. Have the Skype full screen on one and the racing/YouTube/third game against tipp in '07 on the other. Even have the email/INTERNET on the primary laptop screen as well.

I don’t have a monitor in my office. I have a 40 inch 4K tv which is possibly cheaper than 2x 24inch monitors.
The most important thing for Windows 10 users when using screens like this is the use of shortcut keys.
Windows Key + Up arrow
Windows Key + Down arrow
Windows Key + Left arrow
Windows Key + Right arrow
This can allow you to dock the window full, halves or 4 corners of the screen.
No, the most important thing is Ctrl + Alt + down arrow so you can turn someones screen upside down and walk off

When I was a junior photo copier I did this to a manager’s lap top, was just showing him key board short cuts.

Would be worth waiting a few weeks until Black Friday and you might get a bit more spec for your money. Any budget in mind? Are you ok with a LG fire hazard in the home?
Lads there are some shit TVs out there. The picture during live sport, particularly on SD broadcasting of TG4 and the Virgin channels on Saorview can really show how bad some of the digital engines are.
I wouldn’t buy a TV until I seen it in the flesh in the shop showing what I wanted to see. By all means buy online after seeing it… but be careful.
Some of the noise reduction and smoothing filter settings can effect/enhance the quality, but only to a certain degree.
Also, some of the bigger screens are 4 smaller ones stitched together. You can actually identify the stitch columns up close and once you see them you’ll never unsee them.
