Question for the techies

Anyone having issues with Internet Explorer recently?

I use it as my default browser and it’s generally fine but for the last few days I was (and still am) unable to post or message on TFK when using it.

Chrome and Firefox are working fine but IE would not let me click into the text box when posting even though every other TFK feature eg Pickem were working for me.

Seeing as you’ve tried downloading Firefox I doubt there’s anyone who could help here

Did you try turning it off and then turning it on again?

Yes.

What browser are you using? Have a look at Dolphin or Next.

If you don’t have flash installed yet then go here:

Also try using the RTÉ player app rather than just the browser. The flash experience on android browsers is mixed at best.

Sound, yeah I found the rte app after posting… Using crome for now.

I’m looking for a GPS style App that I can download on my phone to show my location if I get lost and preferably have the option to type in an address and be able to follow my movements on a map. A bit like a sat nav for your phone. Anyone know something like this as a downloadable App?

As in google maps?

Can’t be done.

Something like that yeah but that can follow your phone movements like a dot on a map through satellite capabilities and that sort of thing. Must be something out there?

Like a map my run style thing but constantly mapping your movements with the phone?

You need to get a girlfriend you can trust rather than to be covertly installing tracking apps on her phone.

I want to track my own movements dickhead.

Are they my feet?

“Maps” on my iphone does all that. I don’t think it’s google maps though. It will pinpoint your location. Problem is you need to have “Location Services” turned on so the phone is using GPS and Wi-fi and 3GS to locate. So it eats battery. In the end I didn’t use it as I preferred to have battery if I was out walking remotely.

As far as I know the google latitude maps tracker app has been suspended. It was so good it was scary, and I’m sure led to relationship problems as posted above.

Here is some info.

Would you go for a slower quad core processor over a faster dual core?
I’m leaning towards the faster dual core.

Core exercises will help with the leaning and posture generally. Do you have tight hamstrings?

Depends what software your running. Ask the supplier.

I think the biggest speed advantages in buying a new PC is to opt for a Solid State Drive for your operating system. With a separate bigger storage drive for your documents and other files.
